The service
World / Bid provides paid digital placement on an interactive map. It does not sell land, sovereignty, citizenship, political recognition, intellectual property, securities, investments, or real-world ownership.
Eligibility and authority
You must be legally able to enter this agreement and use an authorized payment method. If bidding for an organization, you represent that you can bind it.
Bids and ranking
Bids use whole USD amounts and must meet the displayed minimum. Only provider-verified payments are eligible. The highest paid, non-reversed bid holds the country.
One-time payment
Each bid is a one-time payment for participation in the placement system. It is not a subscription, deposit, escrow balance, or guaranteed holding period.
Outbidding
A higher eligible bid may replace your placement at any time. Another bid can confirm during checkout, so a paid bid may never become the visible holder.
Refunds and disputes
Losing or outbid bids are not automatically refundable. Rights required by law remain unaffected. Refunds and qualifying disputes remove a bid from eligibility.
Public content
Names, labels, country, coordinates and bid amounts may be public. Do not submit secrets, sensitive data, impersonation, threats, unlawful content, malicious links, hate content, or infringement.
Moderation
The operator may reject or remove content that violates these terms, creates legal or safety risk, disrupts the service, or misleads users.
Availability and changes
The map, rankings, rules, supported countries and features may change. No uninterrupted availability or permanent placement is promised.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided as available to the extent permitted by law. Generalized map boundaries do not express a geopolitical position.
Privacy and security
Bid and placement data is stored in PostgreSQL. Dodo handles card and billing information. See the Privacy page for details.
Termination and contact
Access may be restricted for abuse, fraud or security threats. Operator identity, support contact, governing law and dispute venue must be completed before launch.
